Madison man convicted of 13 felonies in video voyeurism case

Listen to this articleMADISON, Wis. (AP) — A Madison man has been convicted of taking nude videos of unknowing customers at a tanning salon.
Twenty-eight-year-old Benjamin Brossard pleaded no contest Thursday to 13 felony counts and two misdemeanor counts.
The Wisconsin State Journal reports that most of the incidents involved patrons at Sun Tan City near the University of Wisconsin campus, though he was also convicted of taking video up the skirt of a woman at a deli.
Brossard was arrested last October when a woman at Sun Tan City noticed a cellphone being held under a partition between tanning booths. The complaint says salon staff told police that Brossard was a frequent customer and should have been considerably darker than he was.
Assistant District Attorney Corey Stephan says there’s no agreement on a sentencing recommendation.
