WAUPACA, Wis. (AP) — A Fremont woman accused of fatally stabbing her boyfriend has been bound over for trial.
Forty-three-year-old Alison Roe appeared for a preliminary hearing in Waupaca County court on Tuesday. She’s charged with first-degree intentional homicide, punishable by life in prison.
Roe is accused of stabbing Craig Dake at their apartment on March 6. According to the criminal complaint, the two argued before Dake was stabbed.
WLUK-TV reports arraignment is scheduled for March 31, according to online court records.
Roe remains in jail with bond set at $1 million. A phone message for comment left after hours for her defense attorney was not immediately returned Tuesday evening.
