combo-011615Milwaukee-based Boyle Fredrickson SC has elected a new member to its Board of Directors, elected new officers and elected a new firm president.

Kirk Deheck was elected to the Board of Directors, replacing Keith Baxter, who had served on the board for six years. Deheck’s practice focuses on the preparation and prosecution of patent and trademark applications, as well as intellectual property opinions and enforcement. Deheck was elected secretary, while Matt Corr was elected vice president and Adam Brookman was elected treasurer.

The Board of Directors also elected Peter Stomma as firm president to replace Tim Newholm, who is retiring after three years. Newholm will continue his practice, focusing on providing ongoing support to clients who require patent protection.

Stomma has experience in all facets of intellectual property law, including the preparation and prosecution of patent and trademark applications both domestically and abroad. Corr’s practice focuses on serving clients with respect to trademark, copyright and licensing issues.


Williams makes partner at Davczyk & Varline

Brian Williams has been named a partner at Davczyk & Varline LLC, Wausau.

He practices primarily in the areas of civil litigation, insurance defense, business formation and litigation, and criminal defense.

He earned his law degree from Marquette University Law School.


Senatori named chair of DeWitt’s Litigation Practice Group

The Madison-based law firm of DeWitt Ross & Stevens SC has named Megan Senatori as Practice Group Chair of its Litigation Practice Group.

Senatori, who joined the firm in 2003, handles a variety of litigation matters, focusing on complex commercial disputes, construction litigation, insurance coverage matters on behalf of policyholders, as well as ethics and discipline matters for attorneys and other professionals.

She earned her law degree from the University of Wisconsin Law School and is a member of the Dane County Bar and American Bar Associations and is an adjunct faculty member at Marquette University and the University of Wisconsin Law School.


Druckrey named Quarles & Brady’s Milwaukee Pro Bono Coordinator

Quarles & Brady LLP has announced that Nicole Druckrey, a partner in the firm’s Commercial Litigation Practice Group, has been named the Milwaukee office pro bono coordinator.

Druckrey’s responsibilities include working in conjunction with Dawn Caldart, director of Pro Bono and Professional Development, to coordinate attorneys in the Milwaukee office providing free legal service to those challenged by injustice or hardship. Druckrey volunteers her time to help domestic abuse victims secure injunctions against their abusers.


Exact Sciences names Coward as general counsel

Madison-based Exact Sciences Corp. has announced that Scott Coward has been named senior vice president and general counsel.

Coward brings decades of experience working with large corporations and emerging growth healthcare companies. Most recently, he was managing partner of K&L Gates’ Raleigh, N.C., office with a specialization in corporate, securities and M&A for life sciences companies.

Coward received his law degree from Columbia University School of Law.


Davis & Kuelthau’s Page named Physicians Realty Trust’s senior vice president

Davis & Kuelthau SC, Milwaukee, has announced that Bradley Page, real estate and corporate attorney, has been chosen by firm client, Physicians Realty Trust, as their senior vice president and general counsel beginning Feb. 1.

Page maintains an active practice representing clients in commercial real estate development, commercial lending, corporate and construction industries, and recently served as president of Davis & Kuelthau.

Since joining the firm in 1995, Page has represented businesses in all areas of commercial real estate, commercial lending, corporate and construction transactions. His practice includes acquisition, development, leasing and sales of healthcare, retail, office, multifamily and industrial properties.

He received his law degree from the University of Wisconsin Law School.
