Criminal Procedure – new trials – newly discovered evidence – postconviction discovery

APPEAL from an order of the circuit court for Waukesha County: PATRICK C. HAUGHNEY, Judge. Affirmed.

Ronald W. Wolfe, Jr. appeals from an order denying his Wis. Stat. § 974.06 (2011-12) postconviction motion for a new trial on the grounds of newly
discovered evidence, ineffective assistance of postconviction counsel, and in the interest of justice. Wolfe additionally argues that the trial court
erred by denying his motions for the appointment of counsel and postconviction discovery. We reject each of Wolfe’s claims and affirm.

2013AP001114 State v. Ronald W. Wolfe, Jr.

DISTRICT II, Waukesha County, PATRICK C. HAUGHNEY, PER CURIAM

Attorneys: For Appellant: Schimel, Brad For Respondent: Balistreri, Thomas J.
