Cordell & Cordell, the nation’s largest domestic litigation firm focusing on representing men in family law cases, recently hired Associate Attorney Laura Stack in its Milwaukee office.

reed-wiesnerAttorneys Ryan Wiesner and Jason Reed have joined Murphy Desmond S.C. in the firm’s Madison office.

Wiesner has litigated a variety of complex cases nationwide for individuals and businesses, and has handled cases through the appellate process in state and federal courts. He earned his law degree from Marquette University Law School.

Reed assists businesses with legal needs such as contracts, formation, and tax planning. He earned his law degree from the University of Wisconsin Law School, and holds a master’s in business administration.

Davis & Kuelthau S.C. announced Monday that Michael Van Someren has joined its Corporate and Real Estate Practice as an associate in its Milwaukee office.

Van Someren’s practice will include real estate, commercial transactions, general business law and business mergers and acquisitions, representing buyers, sellers, investors, lenders and borrowers. Previously, he assisted clients in the acquisition, disposition and leasing of commercial real estate, mergers and acquisitions, equipment leasing, as well as supply and distribution agreements.

Van Someren earned his law degree from Marquette University Law School and received his bachelor’s degree from the University of Wisconsin-Madison. Prior to joining Davis & Kuelthau, Van Someren worked as an associate at a Waukesha County-based business law firm.

The Wisconsin LGBT Chamber of Commerce recently announced that Whyte Hirschboeck Dudek S.C. has joined the Chamber as its newest Gold Founding Member.

With offices in Milwaukee and Madison, as well as Chicago, the firm has more than 150 professionals practicing in more than 50 industry and specialty areas.

In addition to joining the Chamber, Whyte Hirschboeck Dudek is serving as the presenting sponsor for the upcoming LGBT Business Diversity Summit hosted by the LGBT Chamber.
