BELOIT, Wis. (AP) — A Beloit man has been sentenced to 10 years in prison for a hit-and-run crash that killed a 21-year-old woman in Rock County.

The Beloit Daily News says a Rock County judge on Tuesday also ordered 10 years of supervised release for 24-year-old Johnquayle Bell.

He was driving a vehicle involved in a two-car collision in Beloit in April of 2013 that claimed the life of Cassondra Sympson. She was a passenger in a car driven by her fiance. He and Simpson’s two young children were injured.

Bell fled from the scene and turned himself in days later.
