EAU CLAIRE, Wis. (AP) — A drunken driver who struck and killed a man plowing snow in Eau Claire County and fled the scene has been sentenced to four years in prison.
Gregory Price, of Elk Mound, pleaded guilty Thursday to homicide by drunken driving. Prosecutors say it’s the fourth time Price has been caught driving drunk.
Price was driving a van that struck and killed 74-year-old Joe Miller last February. WQOW-TV says Miller was on his ATV plowing snow when he was hit.
Witnesses followed Price as he left the scene and called police.
