Milwaukee man sentenced to 40 years for child porn

Listen to this articleMilwaukee (AP) — Federal prosecutors say a Milwaukee man convicted of possessing child pornography has been sentenced to 40 years.
The U.S. Attorney’s office announced the sentencing Tuesday of 26-year-old Elia V. Orlando.
Prosecutors say Orlando left his cellphone at a gas station last year. The woman who found it went through it to try to find the owner, and she found apparent child porn.
Court documents say investigators found images of four girls, ages 2 to 5. Prosecutors say Orlando had befriended several of the girls’ parents and was ultimately entrusted with their care.
Defense attorney Thomas Erickson said Tuesday his client acknowledged his errors, and will avail himself of all treatment options in the federal system.
After serving his prison term Orlando will be subject to a lifetime of supervised release.
