Wisconsin justices reprimand Arizona attorney

The Wisconsin Supreme Court publicly reprimanded an Arizona attorney Wednesday for trust account violations.

John Curtin, of Robbins & Curtin PLLC, Phoenix, faced discipline based on overdrawing his trust account. According to court papers, Stacey Williams, an employee who worked for Curtin for seven years, stole money from the trust account.

An Arizona disciplinary judge put Curtin on one year’s probation in May 2013. The Wisconsin Supreme Court’s per curiam decision was reciprocal discipline for the same case.

Curtin graduated from the University of Wisconsin Law School in 1987. His Wisconsin law license is inactive.
