Democratic attorney general candidates at forum

MADISON, Wis. (AP) — All three Democratic candidates for attorney general are scheduled to appear together at a forum hosted by the Dane County Democratic Party.

State Rep. Jon Richards, of Milwaukee, Jefferson County District Attorney Susan Happ and Dane County District Attorney Ismael Ozanne are all scheduled to appear at Tuesday’s forum.

The event comes exactly three weeks before the Aug. 12 primary. The winner that night will advance to take on Republican Brad Schimel, the Waukesha County district attorney. He is the only Republican in the race.

Current Attorney General J.B. Van Hollen is not seeking a third term.
