Governor seeks to replace retiring judge

Gov. Scott Walker is seeking applications to fill the seat of a retiring Kenosha County judge.

Judge Wilbur Warren III, who has been a judge since 1997, will vacate his seat Aug. 18. His term was set to expire in 2015.

A release from Walker’s office states that the appointed judge will serve until April 2015, and then that person would have to run for their next term.

Those interested in applying can find information on Walker’s website. The deadline to apply is 5 p.m. April 8.
