Guilty plea in Kwik Trip homicide case

LA CROSSE, Wis. (AP) — A woman has pleaded guilty to her role in a fatal stabbing at a La Crosse convenience store.

Twenty-three-year-old Brittany Jones entered the plea to aiding a felon and bail jumping during an appearance Monday in La Crosse County Circuit Court. She faces more than four years in prison when she’s sentenced Feb. 18.

Jones’ boyfriend, Mitrel Anderson, is accused of killing 24-year-old DeMario Lee at a Kwik Trip store last June. The La Crosse Tribune says Anderson’s trial is set to begin June 9.

Jones was accused of driving Anderson to Madison where they were arrested the following day.
