The Wisconsin State Bar-appointed Federal Nominating Commission is now accepting applications for a vacant judge seat in the Eastern District of Wisconsin.
The commission – made up entirely of attorneys – is looking to nominate several candidates to fill the seat left vacant by Judge Charles Clevert, who took senior status in October 2012. The recommendations will be presented to President Barack Obama, and the U.S. Senate will need to approve the president’s appointment.
The commission will accept applications until Dec. 11. Applicants can find information on the bar’s website.
