Gov. Scott Walker on Monday appointed prosecutor Jacalyn LaBre to serve as Manitowoc County District Attorney following Mark Rohrer’s election to the Circuit Court.
LaBre has served as an assistant district attorney in Racine County since her 1998 graduation from Marquette University Law School. She is a board member for the Wisconsin District Attorney’s Association and Wisconsin Narcotics Officers Association. She often speaks to area students through the DARE program.
LaBre also serves as a foster parent for Racine County.
