Alicia Armstrong joined Grzeca Law Group SC as a bilingual associate attorney. A 2011 graduate of City University of New York School of Law, Armstrong will focus on family-based immigration matters in the firm’s Madison office.

Gwendolyn Coomer joined Foley & Lardner LLP as public affairs director in the Madison office. She previously served as assistant deputy secretary at the Wisconsin Department of Administration. Coomer now will manage government relations issues on behalf of the firm’s clients.

Angela James joined Michael Best & Friedrich LLP as senior counsel in the environmental practice group and the energy and sustainability industry team. She earned her law degree in 2000 from the University of Wisconsin Law School and will work out of the Madison office.

Daniel LaFrenz joined Michael Best & Friedrich LLP’s transactional practice group, specializing in tax matters for the Milwaukee office. He previously worked as a tax consultant for Deloitte Tax LLP. LaFrenz earned his law degree in 2011 from Marquette University Law School.

Anthony Marino joined Michael Best & Friedrich LLP’s transactional practice group in the Milwaukee office. Marino earned his law degree in 1997 from the University of Texas School of Law.

Jacqueline Messler joined Weiss Berzowski Brady LLP, Milwaukee, as an associate. Her practice focuses on business law, estate planning and tax law. She earned her law degree in 2012 from Marquette University Law School.
