MADISON, Wis. (AP) – Attorneys general from across the country are set to converge on Milwaukee next week.
The National Association of Attorneys General is set to hold its annual presidential summit at the Pfister Hotel on Sept. 17 and 18. The summit is typically held in the NAAG president’s home state; the association elected Wisconsin Attorney General J.B. Van Hollen to its top position in June.
Van Hollen plans to focus on keeping children safe. Attendees are scheduled to discuss school violence, drug abuse, child sex trafficking and Internet crimes against children.
Speakers will include the leaders of the National Center for Missing and Exploited Children and the National Child Protection Training Center.
Eighteen state and territorial attorneys general are expected to attend.
