The National Association of Attorneys General are scheduled to meet Sept. 16-18 in Milwaukee on measures that prosecutors and law enforcement officials can take to keep children safe.
The summit, titled “America’s Promise: Keeping Our Kids Safe,” will include information on ways to prevent school violence, drug abuse and child sex trafficking. The confirmed speakers include Victor Vieth, executive director of the National Child Protection Center; John Ryan, chief executive officer of the National Center for Missing and Exploited Children; and Dan Duncan, associate executive director of the National Council on Alcoholism and Drug Abuse.
The summit is scheduled to be held at The Pfister hotel, 424 E. Washington Ave., Milwaukee. The deadline for registration is Aug. 26.
