Who’s Doing What: Hart named counsel VP of Aurora Health Care

Rachelle Hart was named senior vice president, general counsel for Aurora Health Care. Hart has worked at Aurora since 2010, serving as deputy general counsel, where she was responsible for all of Aurora’s health law-related matters. In her new role, Hart will have responsibility for all legal matters at Aurora. Hart earned her law degree from the University of Wisconsin-Madison.

Jeff Peelen, of Quarles & Brady LLP, was named national practice group chairman for the firm’s Public Finance practice group. Peelen succeeds Michael Roshar, who has led the group since 2010.

Peelen joined Quarles & Brady in 1998 after graduating from Georgetown University Law Center. His practice involves public finance, with an emphasis on securities law matters pertinent to local governments and broker-dealer underwriters.

Shannon Allen, who graduated from the University of Wisconsin Law School in 1995, joined Fox, O’Neill & Shannon SC, Milwaukee, as a partner in their litigation practice. Allen has more than 18 years of commercial litigation experience. She joins the litigation team of Bruce O’Neill, Michael Hanrahan, Matthew O’Neill, Diane Slomowitz and Jacob Manian.

Andrew Coursin joined Neider & Boucher SC, Madison. Coursin earned his law degree from University of Wisconsin-Madison Law School in 2001. His practice focuses on assisting entrepreneurs and other business owners in strategizing and developing their business ideas and goals.

Rachel Krueger joined Hawks Quindel SC’s Madison office. Krueger graduated from the University of Wisconsin Law School in May 2013 and has been a law clerk with the firm since October 2011. Her practice focuses on worker’s compensation, disability, wage and hour, and general employment matters.

Joseph LaDien joined Davis & Kuelthau SC’s Corporate and Real Estate practice groups as an associate in the Milwaukee office. LaDien’s practice will focus in the areas of general corporate, commercial real estate, and commercial lending. He’ll assist firm shareholders to advise clients on objectives involving review and negotiation of commercial contracts, business merger and acquisition services, real estate development, as well as leasing and sale of residential and commercial properties. LaDien earned his law degree from Marquette University Law School.

Mark Maciolek

Mark Maciolek joined Murphy Desmond SC in the firm’s Litigation, Criminal Defense and Bankruptcy practice groups. Maciolek’s practice has focused significantly on defense of individuals accused of crimes in federal and state courts. He earned his law degree from the University of Wisconsin Law School in 2005.

Kristi Thompson joined Midwest Legal & eData Services Inc., Oak Creek. Thompson has more than 30 years of litigation experience with Milwaukee law firms. She recently received training on ediscovery software and will be part of the team of analysts.

Susan Tyndall, a 1985 Marquette Law School graduate, joined Habush Habush & Rottier SC as a shareholder. She works in the firm’s Waukesha office.
