Who’s Doing What: New hires in Milwaukee, Madison

Jeremy Adelson, James Barton, Don Jacquart, Paul Jacquart, John Shanahan, and Kristin Smith joined Hansen Reynolds Dickinson Crueger LLC, Milwaukee.

Adelson joins the firm as of counsel. Previously, he was an associate with Michael Best & Friedrich LLP. Adelson’s practice includes counseling clients on matters of intellectual property and intellectual property litigation. He earned his law degree in 2009 from the University of Wisconsin Law School.

Barton joined the firm as a senior associate. Previously, he was an associate with Michael Best & Friedrich. He earned his law degree in 2008 from Marquette University Law School.

Don Jacquart serves as of counsel with more than 40 years of civil litigation experience in state and federal courts. He has participated in more than 100 jury trials. Before joining HRDC, he founded the Milwaukee firms of Donald J. Jacquart SC and Jacquart & Lowe SC. He earned his law degree from Marquette University Law School in 1968.

Paul Jacquart comes to the firm as a partner. He has litigated cases in trial and appellate courts involving a variety of business disputes, personal injury, products liability, medical malpractice, and insurance coverage issues. He earned his law degree in 2000 from Marquette University Law School.

Shanahan is an associate attorney at the firm. He concentrates his practice on complex corporate litigation. He graduated from Marquette University Law School in 2012.

Smith joins the firm as a paralegal after serving in a similar role for more than seven years at Jacquart & Lowe SC.

The firm also welcomes three summer associates: Danielle Nardick, Kaitlyn Reise and Kathryn Scott.

Kyle Engelke joined Stafford Rosenbaum LLP, Madison, as an associate. He is a 2013 graduate of the University of Wisconsin Law School where he was a student attorney for the Wisconsin Innocence Project and was a senior board member for the Wisconsin International Law Journal. Engelke practices litigation, business and municipal law.

Amber Raffeet, a 2013 University of Wisconsin Law School graduate, joined Grzeca Law Group SC, Milwaukee, as an associate and will focus on family-based immigration matters.

Lucinda Schettler rejoined Michael Best & Friedrich LLP, Milwaukee’s Labor and Employment Relations Practice Group. Her practice includes employment issues including family and medical leaves, disability accommodation, harassment, discrimination and retaliation, wage and hour law, hiring and termination practices, and severance and settlement agreements. Schettler earned her law degree in 2003 from the University of Virginia Law School.
