Criminal Procedure – competency — ineffective assistance

Dwayne Almond, pro se, appeals a circuit court order denying his postconviction motion filed under Wis. Stat. § 974.06 (2011-12). He seeks relief from a judgment of conviction entered in 1992. He alleges that the trial court did not comply with allegedly applicable deadlines for conducting competency proceedings, that his guilty pleas are invalid, and that his trial counsel was ineffective. We reject his claims and affirm the postconviction order. This opinion will not be published.
