MILWAUKEE (AP) — Authorities say two female prostitutes and a male acquaintance hid the body of a john who apparently died of a drug overdose in one of his closets, then took out his car and used his apartment to cater to other clients.

The three were charged Monday in Milwaukee County Circuit Court with hiding a corpse as a party to a crime in the death of Glenn Willis, the Milwaukee Journal Sentinel reported Tuesday.

Willis, 62, an employee at Kohn Law Firm in Milwaukee, was reported missing June 21 by his family, who last heard from him June 14.

Police officers checked his apartment June 24 but did not find his body until they returned Friday and discovered the closet door obscured by a bookcase and exercise bike pushed in front of it. The cause of his death remains under investigation.

The complaint names Brittany P. Clary, 22, of New Berlin; Ashley S. Howard, 35, of Milwaukee; and Michael Sether, 34, of New Berlin. Online court records don’t list defense attorneys for any of them.

According to the complaint, Howard told police that Willis picked her up June 14. She said he then bought cocaine and heroin, and then drove back to his apartment where they had sex, he used cocaine and she used heroin. He eventually tried the heroin and fell asleep. She said she later noticed he was struggling to breathe, but she left. She found him dead when she returned with Clary and Sether.

Sether wrapped up Willis’ body in a comforter, put it in the closet and blocked the door, the complaint alleged. It said the three then shot heroin before leaving and attempting to use Willis’ credit cards. The women returned and used Willis’ apartment to entertain clients, and also used his car, it said.
