Fiedler sworn in as State Bar president

MADISON, Wis. (AP) – The State Bar of Wisconsin has a new president.

Attorney Patrick Fiedler was sworn in Wednesday evening in Middleton and will serve a one-year term beginning July 1.

Fiedler is currently a partner at Axley Brynelson, where he specializes in litigation and alternative dispute resolution.

He previously served as a Dane County Circuit Court Judge, Secretary of the Wisconsin Department of Corrections, U.S. Attorney for the Western District of Wisconsin, and as Waukesha County Assistant District Attorney.

He will succeed Attorney Kevin Klein of Phillips.
