Sexually Violent Persons — credibility determinations —  experts’ methodologies

Terry L. Olson was convicted in 1991 of two counts of first-degree sexual assault of a child and has been diagnosed with pedophilia. Committed in 2003 under Wis. Stat. ch. 980 (2011-12),[1] Olson petitioned for discharge in 2010. Olson appeals the order denying his petition on the basis that that the evidence was insufficient as a matter of law to establish that he is dangerous to others because of a mental disorder that makes it more likely than not that he will engage in future sexual violence. We disagree and affirm. This opinion will not be published.
