Criminal Procedure – Reverse waivers

Cortez Lorenzo Toliver appeals a circuit court judgment convicting him of first-degree reckless injury and attempted robbery with threat of force, both involving the use of a dangerous weapon. He also appeals the order denying his motion for postconviction relief. Toliver was sixteen years old at the time of the offenses. He argues that the circuit court erroneously exercised its discretion in denying his request for a “reverse waiver” into juvenile court. He also argues that the court erroneously exercised it discretion at sentencing. We reject Toliver’s arguments and affirm.

Affirmed.
