MILWAUKEE (AP) — The former Solicitor General of the United States will speak in Milwaukee in March.
Wisconsin native Paul Clement is expected to discuss how last year’s constitutional challenges to the Affordable Care Act presented phenomena that the Supreme Court had not seen for more than a generation or ever.
Clement, who argued the case on behalf of the states, will talk about the unusual choices lawyers had to make in preparation and presentation of the case and the extent that it affected the public’s perception.
The event is March 4 at Marquette University.
