Megna asked incumbent Justice Patience Roggensack and Marquette University law professor Ed Fallone to make a public pledge not to accept out-of-state money.
Megna’s plea comes after the filing of campaign finance reports last week that showed Roggensack had about $55,000 in the bank heading into January compared with about $6,900 for Megna and $5,400 for Fallone.
Roggensack’s total didn’t include $20,550 she received in late December from Fund for Parent Choice, a national group that advocates for private school vouchers.[polldaddy poll=”6878490″]
Roggensack’s spokesman Brandon Scholz calls Megna’s request “a typical political attack from candidates who can’t raise money for their own campaign.”
