Milwaukee Bar to host meet the candidates forums

The Milwaukee Bar Association is hosting two forums next month to introduce candidates running for the Wisconsin Supreme Court as well as candidates for a Milwaukee County judicial spot.

The moderated forums, set for back-to-back days the first week of February, are open to the public. Audience members can submit questions to the moderators.

The first session, from noon to 1 p.m. Feb. 6, will feature candidates for the Milwaukee County Circuit Court Branch 45 seat: Incumbent Judge Rebecca Bradley, Milwaukee County Assistant District Attorney Janet Protasiewicz and Gil Urfer of Nistler Law Office.

The second session, scheduled for 12:15 p.m. to 1:15 p.m. Feb. 7, will feature Wisconsin Supreme Court candidates Ed Fallone, Vince Megna and incumbent Justice Patience Roggensack.

Both forums will be held at the Milwaukee Bar Association offices at 424 E. Wells St., Milwaukee.
