WAUSAU, Wis. (AP) — A former Wisconsin firefighter has been sentenced for burning down his home and damaging two of his neighbor’s homes.

Forty-six-year-old Keith Rosenow was sentenced to two years behind bars and three years extended supervision. Rosenow will receive credit for 350 days already spent in jail.

In November, Rosenow pleaded no contest to second-degree recklessly endangering safety and unsafe burning of own building. Other charges were dismissed.

Judge Greg Grau said Rosenow was a firefighter with the Weston Fire Department for 16 years, but left in 2001.

Authorities say he started a fire at his home in a Wausau mobile home park last January as revenge against the manager for evicting him.

WSAW-TV reports Rosenow’s wife, Kathleen, also is charged in the case. Her jury trial is scheduled for April.
