The Government Accountability Office has announced a new online tool titled Key Issues. According to the website, the purpose is to “provide information about GAO’s work on a range of issues facing the nation and highlight our most relevant reports.”
Researchers can search by topic, agency or collection. Examples of report topics include natural resources, health care, economic development, and tax policy. Linking to a “collection” provides access to pools of data and information.
The website describes the collection section as “special bodies of cross-cutting work – such as the Fiscal Outlook, High Risk List, and Duplication & Cost Savings work.”
The news release provides additional information.
