Criminal Procedure — ineffective assistance

Dwight Scott appeals a judgment convicting him of burglary and attempted armed robbery, each as a repeat offender, and an order denying his motion for postconviction relief. He contends that he is entitled to a new trial based upon ineffective assistance of counsel and in the interest of justice. For the reasons discussed below, we disagree and affirm the circuit court. This opinion will not be published.

2011AP1285-CR State v. Scott

Dist IV, Dane County, Flanagan, J., Per Curiam

Attorneys: For Appellant: FitzGerald, Patricia A., Mt. Horeb; For Respondent: Moeller, Marguerite M., Madison; Karst, Mary Ellen, Madison
