Criminal Procedure — unanimous verdict — ineffective assistance

Alex Laboy appeals from a judgment convicting him of second-degree reckless homicide in the death of his five-week-old daughter and from a circuit court order denying his postconviction motion seeking a new trial. On appeal, Laboy argues that he was denied due process, a fair trial, a unanimous verdict and the effective assistance of trial counsel. We reject these claims and affirm. This opinion will not be published.
