The Dane County Bar Association hosted its annual Law Day Pro Bono Breakfast on Tuesday at United Methodist Church in Madison.
The event honored those who give their time to help people in need of legal assistance and raised money for nonprofit associations in Dane County that provide legal services without charge or at reduced fees to low-income individuals.
The following organizations and individuals received recognition: Commissioner Mary Beth Keppel, Attorney H. Wes Taylor, University of Wisconsin Pro Bono Program, the Community Immigration Law Center, ABC for Health, University of Wisconsin Law student Jennifer Cunha.
