OSHKOSH, Wis. (AP) – A woman accused of selling phony shares of Facebook stock is facing nearly two dozen additional charges.
Marianne Oleson was charged Wednesday with 22 more felonies, including theft by false representation and perjury. The 46-year-old Oshkosh woman is due in Winnebago County Circuit Court Thursday.
The charges are in addition to 34 counts Oleson is already facing. Prosecutors say Oleson duped at least four people into buying some shares. A criminal complaint says one man gave Oleson $28,000 in cash and concrete work in exchange for stock documents that appeared to be legitimate.
WLUK-TV says a pretrial conference is scheduled for April 30 on the 34 original counts.
