Who’s Doing What: New hires at Michael Best, Ruder Ware

Carlos Pastrana joined the Milwaukee office of Michael Best & Friedrich LLP. He is an associate in the Labor and Employment Practice Group with a focus on client counseling, litigation and trial discrimination, retaliation and harassment cases, labor relations disputes and employment-based immigration. Pastrana earned his law degree from the University of Puerto Rico School of Law in 2002.

Nick Heike joined the Trusts & Estates and Business Transactions practice groups at Ruder Ware LLSC’s Eau Claire office. He has five years of experience in estate planning, business counseling and banking law.

Heike will continue to work with businesses and individuals, providing counsel on the formation and operation of businesses of varying sizes in addition to reviewing contracts, assisting with business transactions, and providing counsel on real estate and banking matters. He earned his law degree from Drake University Law School.

Quarles & Brady LLP on Monday announced the opening of a Washington, D.C. office. The firm’s newest office welcomes John Dienelt and Scott McIntosh as partners. Both bring their national franchise practice to the firm.
