Sandy Swartzberg joined Weiss Berzowski Brady LLP, Milwaukee. He received his law degree from the University of Wisconsin Law School in 1977. Swartzberg is a founder, director and treasurer of the Wisconsin Business Consortium as well as a founder and member of the Business Growth Advisors.

Susan Steberl joined Godfrey & Kahn SC, Milwaukee, as the firm’s new director of marketing. She has more than 13 years of marketing and strategic business development experience. Most recently, Steberl worked for Michael Best & Friedrich LLP, Milwaukee, as its client development manager. Steberl received her bachelor’s degree in marketing from Carthage College.

John Flanagan, a partner at Michael Best & Friedrich LLP, Milwaukee, was named president of the Wisconsin Equal Justice Fund Inc., a nonprofit organization that provides money for Legal Action of Wisconsin, Wisconsin Judicare and Disability Rights Wisconsin. Flanagan has been practicing in the area of commercial litigation for 25 years. He earned his law degree from Marquette Univeristy Law School in 1984.

• Attorneys Lisa Nester Kass, Rebecca Frihart Kennedy, Joseph Voiland and Nathan Wautier were named shareholders at Reinhart Boerner Van Deuren SC, Milwaukee.

Kass is a member of the firm’s litigation and intellectual property practices. She assists a broad range of corporate clients, including manufacturers, real estate developers, investors and service providers in the resolution of business and intellectual property disputes. She earned her law degree, cum laude, from Marquette University Law School.

Kennedy is a member of the firm’s litigation practice and product liability and safety service group. She represents corporations ranging from financial institutions to consumer product and heavy machinery manufacturers in a wide range of complex civil litigation matters. Kennedy earned her law degree from The Ohio State University Moritz College of Law.

Voiland is a member of the firm’s litigation, employee benefits, and government relations practice groups. His practice is concentrated on financial services litigation and government-related litigation. Voiland earned his law degree, with honors, from Marquette University Law School.

Wautier is a member of the firm’s real estate practice and institutional investor services group. He acts as the point-of-entry on a range of legal needs and services for a variety of corporate and institutional clients. Wautier earned his law degree, cum laude, from the University of Wisconsin Law School.
