SHEBOYGAN, Wis. (AP) – A Sheboygan teenager accused in a fatal hit-and-run drunken driving crash has reached a plea agreement.

Nineteen-year-old Kayla Bower pleaded no contest Monday to three felony charges involving last summer’s crash near Kiwanis Park during Brat Days. Bower was accused of driving drunk and hitting three women, killing 60-year-old Barbara Janke of Sheboygan. Janke’s daughter and her daughter’s friend, both 19, were injured.

The Sheboygan Press says prosecutor James Haasch will recommend Bower serve 6 years in prison, followed by 12 years of supervision on two counts of injury by driving drunk and one count of homicide by drunken driving. Bower’s sentencing is scheduled April 9.
