BEV BUTULA: Bloomberg app provides news you can use

Bloomberg, a financial news corporation, offers four mobile apps to access their products. The company offers a separate app for Bloomberg, Bloomberg Radio, Bloomberg TV, and Bloomberg Businessweek.

The Bloomberg app provides breaking financial information, market data and general news. The news stories are grouped by topics that include Economy, Technology, Health Care, Energy, Insurance, Municipal Bonds, and several more. The app also includes an up-to-date list of currencies and the ability to track personal stocks.

The app is available on the major smartphones and tablets, including iPhone, iPad, Blackberry and Android products.

Currently, the other Bloomberg apps are only available for iPhone or iPad. Bloomberg Radio allows the listener to tune in live or listen on demand. Bloomberg TV, available on iPad, is a 24-hour financial news service with the ability to search and download videos.

Bloomberg Businessweek is an iPad app providing access to the print magazine. The app also includes a variety of videos, access to market data and the ability to save articles.
