RACINE, Wis. (AP) — A 43-year-old Waterford man who appeared in a Racine County courtroom in connection with a violent domestic case unleashed a stream of profanity at Judge Wayne Marik, and threatened to kill the judge and prosecutors.
The Journal Times of Racine reports Sean Riker appeared in court Friday so Marik could make sure Riker was freely giving up his right to attend his sentencing.
Riker was convicted in November on multiple counts stemming from a 2009 abuse incident.
He was removed from the courtroom Friday and will have the chance to appear in a video conference when sentenced March 2.
He is already serving time for damaging the Racine County Jail, for breaking out of his cell. He also has served time in federal prison for detonating pipe bombs in Utah.
