Criminal Procedure — plea withdrawal

James Alfred Smith appeals from a judgment of conviction entered following his guilty plea to one count of robbery with use of force. He also appeals from a postconviction order denying his motion to withdraw his plea. He asserts that his conviction constitutes a manifest injustice because he did not know when he entered his plea that the prosecution’s complaining witness had died. We reject his contentions and affirm. This opinion will not be published.
