Another Republican lawsuit filed over redistricting (UPDATE)

Listen to this articleMADISON, Wis. (AP) – Republicans have filed a second lawsuit to require any recall elections for state legislators to be conducted in newly drawn districts, a move that would favor their party.
The lawsuit filed Tuesday in Waukesha County district court comes a week after the same plaintiffs asked the state Supreme Court to either appoint a three-judge panel to hear the case or take it up themselves.
The Supreme Court on Wednesday gave both sides, as well as Democrats who wish to intervene, until Tuesday to file arguments over whether the court should appoint the panel.
Earlier this month a group of Democrats asked a panel of three federal judges to ensure that any recall elections use the old maps.
Democrats are trying to recall four Republican state senators.
