Wis. man gets life in prison in 1973 Arizona murder (UPDATE)

Listen to this articleTUCSON, Ariz. (AP) – A Wisconsin man has been sentenced to life in prison for the 1973 killing of a Tucson woman who was the daughter of a former FBI agent.
William Floyd Zamastill, of Waupun, was sentenced Thursday in U.S. District Court in Tucson. He was convicted in July of first-degree murder in the death of Leesa Jo Shaner.
Her remains were found in September 1973 in a shallow grave at Fort Huachuca in southeastern Arizona.
Prosecutors believe Shaner was abducted from Tucson International Airport, where she had driven to pick up her husband on May 29, 1973.
Zamastill became a suspect in the Shaner case in 1979 while imprisoned for the murder of a Wisconsin woman.
Shaner’s father was former FBI agent James A. Miller, who died of cancer in 2007.
