Gov. Scott Walker’s office is seeking applicants for a vacancy on the Dane County Circuit Court bench.
Judge Pat Fiedler retired Friday after almost 18 years.
His departure leaves two vacancies on in Dane County Circuit Court.
In June, Dan Moeser retired after almost 32 years on the bench.
Madison Assistant City Attorney Roger Allen and private attorneys Catherine Furay and Marta Meyers were announced as finalists by Walker’s office in early September.
According to Tom Evenson, communications aide for Walker, several judicial appointments are expected to be made on Friday, although it was not immediately known if a successor to Moeser will be one of the appointments.
Applicants for Fiedler’s seat have until 5 p.m. Oct. 14 to submit applications.
