The law firm of DeWitt Ross & Stevens SC, Madison, announced that the Wisconsin Law Foundation honored its partner, Donald Leo Bach, with the Charles L. Goldberg Distinguished Service Award at the Fellows of the Wisconsin Law Foundation dinner Sept. 27 in Madison.
The Goldberg Award recognizes the lifetime achievement of an individual in the legal profession with a record of service to the profession and to the public. It is named after the former State Bar president, a leader in launching free legal services to the poor.
Bach has spent more than 35 years practicing law. He received his law degree from the University of Wisconsin Law School.

The National Association for Female Executives and Flex-Time Lawyers announced Godfrey & Kahn SC, Milwaukee, as a NAFE and Flex-Time Lawyers Best Law Firm for Women. NAFE is a division of Working Mother Media.
The 2011 Best Law Firms for Women application was developed in a partnership with Working Mother Media and Flex-Time Lawyers LLC. Firms with at least 50 lawyers were eligible to apply and the application included detailed questions about the issues that are most important to the retention and promotion of female lawyers.
