The State Bar of Wisconsin’s Diversity Outreach Committee and the Association of Corporate Counsel–Wisconsin Chapter are sponsoring a day-long program Friday in Milwaukee, promoting workplace diversity for lawyers.

Attorney Sean Carter will be speaking at the program titled “Today’s Diversity: Perception and Reality.” The event includes lunch.

Speakers will discuss different approaches that both minority-owned and majority-owned law firms have used to promote the services of diverse lawyers. Other presenters will address the status and impact of state and federal laws and policies on diversity efforts.

The event is open to the public. Tuition for the event is $35 for State Bar members, $15 for students and $50 for others.

For more information or to register, contact the State Bar at 800-728-7788 or read the program brochure online.
