RACINE, Wis. (AP) — A Racine County judge has modified the bond for Curt Johnson to allow the former chairman of Diversey Inc. to travel out of state in limited circumstances.
The 56-year-old Johnson is a billionaire executive whose family has run SC Johnson for five generations. He’s accused of repeatedly sexually assaulting a girl he knew, starting after she finished sixth grade.
A report in The Journal Times of Racine says Johnson is out of jail on a $500,000 cash bond.
On Monday, a judge altered the conditions of his bond to allow him to travel out of state to see his wife, attend counseling sessions and conduct business within the continental United States.
Johnson is due back in court Sept. 23 for a motion hearing.
