Who’s Doing What: Leineweber joins Bell, Moore & Richter SC

The law firm of Dewitt Ross & Stevens SC announced attorneys Steven Conway and Joe Miotke have joined its firm.

Conway will practice from the firm’s Madison office and will specialize in the areas of health care, litigation and government relations.  Conway earned his juris doctor at Stetson University College of Law.

Miotke will practice from the firm’s Milwaukee office specializing in intellectual property. Miotke graduated in the top five percent of his law school class at Marquette University Law School.

Recently retired Circuit Court Judge Edward Leineweber is now Of Counsel to Bell, Moore & Richter SC, a 160-year-old Madison law firm with offices located at 44 E. Mifflin St. A 1976 graduate of the University of Wisconsin Law School, former district attorney, city attorney and veteran of 20-plus years in private practice and small businesses, Leineweber intends to concentrate his practice on aviation, business, agriculture and real estate related legal matters and civil litigation, including personal injury.

The law firm of Michael Best & Friedrich LLP announced Michael Hirsch has joined the firm as a staff attorney in its Milwaukee office. Hirsch joins the firm’s transactional practice group, focusing his practice on real estate law, and in particular, eminent domain, condemnation and property matters. He received his law degree from the University of Wisconsin Law School.

von Briesen & Roper SC announced that Andrew Guzikowski has joined the firm as a shareholder and will chair the firm’s newly formed Public Finance Section. The section will serve banks, businesses, hospitals and health care systems, municipalities and school districts in their public finance, bonding and other tax-exempt financing needs. Guzikowski has more than 20 years of experience in public finance. He received his juris doctor, cum laude, in 1982 from the University of Wisconsin Law School.
