STEVENS POINT, Wis. (AP) — A 20-year-old man has pleaded not guilty in Portage County to charges that he stabbed three people in May, killing one of them.

Tyler Dahms of Pine Grove faces a first-degree intentional homicide charge and two counts of attempted first-degree intentional homicide. Dahms is accused in the May 15 stabbing of 37-year-old Karen Dombrowski, her husband, 41-year-old Michael Dombrowski, and his 46-year-old brother, Kenneth Dombrowski, at a town of New Hope home. Karen Dombrowski died shortly after the stabbing.

Dahms also is charged with burglary, criminal damage to property and misdemeanor theft, stemming from two burglaries authorities say were committed in the days before the stabbing. The Stevens Point Journal reports he pleaded not guilty to those charges Monday.
