PORT WASHINGTON, Wis. (AP) — A Mequon man has pleaded not guilty to killing his parents.
Twenty-year-old Dennis Markov appeared in Ozaukee County Circuit Court Wednesday where he entered the pleas to two counts of first-degree intentional homicide.
Authorities say Markov fatally shot Victor and Larissa Markov in April after an argument over $5. Mequon detective Charles O’Connell investigated the deaths and testified that Markov told him he was sick and tired of his parents because they called him lazy and did not respect him.
WISN-TV says a trial is scheduled for January.
