STEVENS POINT, Wis. (AP) — A teenager is expected to enter pleas next month to charges he stabbed three people in Portage County in May, killing one of them.
Several witnesses, including the two survivors, testified Thursday about the May 15 stabbing in the town of New Hope, resulting in the death of Karen Dombrowski and serious injuries to her husband, Michael, and brother-in-law, Kenneth. The stabbings happened after several adults, including the three victims, tried to break up a party at the home of Kenneth Dombrowski.
The Stevens Point Journal reports that 19-year-old Tyler Dahms, of Pine Grove, will enter his pleas July 18. He’s charged with first-degree intentional homicide and two counts of attempted-first degree intentional homicide, plus other charges.
Defense attorney Anne Renc declined to comment on the hearing.
