Wis. Man pleads guilty to raping SD teenager

Listen to this articleSIOUX FALLS, S.D. (AP) – A former Hardee’s restaurant trainer from Wisconsin who was accused of having sex with a 15-year-old trainee in Sioux Falls has pleaded guilty to rape.
The Argus Leader reports that 36-year-old Shannon Manninger faces up to 15 years in prison. If a judge approves a plea agreement Manninger reached with prosecutors, his prison time will be capped at five years.
Authorities allege that Manninger once posed as the girl’s father so she could be released from school and the two could have sex in a hotel room.
